To invite members into your projects through Slack, make sure they also have an Egg3 account. They must also be a member of the Slack channel and workspace in which your project is connected to in order to generate images.
Use the /add-member command on the Slack channel you are using for your project. Write the name of the member by mentioning them next to the command as follows, and hit enter.
You will get the following message if you are successful.
The invited member must be logged into their Egg3 account and click on the invite link.
The invited member will be taken to the Egg3 webpage with the following message. Click Connect to Slack.
Allow access and the project will be added to their Egg3 account.
You can also add members through your project settings. Select the project you wish to add members to and select Setting.
Select the Member tab and select + Invite member.
1. Write the email address of the member you wish to invite.
2. Select the dropdown next to the email.
3. Select the member permissions.
4. Send invite.
Creators may view, add/remove images in library, vote/unvote images, and download images. Admin have all creator permissions and may edit project settings and information, add/remove members, delete images, remove channels, and delete projects.
Invited members will receive the following email.
Click on the invitation link. Remember, the invited member must also have an Egg3 account. They will need to create one if they do not.
The invitation link will take the new member to the project page they have been invited to on Egg3. Make sure to select Connect to Slack and allow the connection.
Congratulations! You have now successfully joined a project!
